I wanted to share with everyone our next mission project. “Feed My Sheep 2023” will be a 10-day mission trip to Anápolis, Brazil starting this April 21st and running through May 1st of this year. We have partnered with Pastor Castro from Rio de Vida Church in Richardson, TX, Pastor David Cavitt from St. Elmo’s Missionary Baptist Church in Lawton, OK and Pastor Claudio Romeiro from Camiho Church in Anápolis, Brazil. Pastor Claudio Romeiro has a tremendous outreach ministry in Anápolis, Brazil and our goal is to help continue his efforts in reaching the lost as well as providing food for the hungry.

Helen and I will be traveling to Brazil in April and we have paid for our own traveling expenses. Every single dollar donated will be going directly to help pay for food for the families we are trying to bless. The goal of our ministry is to raise $4,000 to help support the overall food cost for this mission.

This trip is centered around reaching the lost with the Gospel of our Lord and Savior. Our goal is to see Isaiah 61:1 come alive:

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;”

Mission Objectives:

1. We are raising funds to help purchase 7.2 tons of food for 300 families. We are going to have three separate evangelistic events where we are reaching the lost through the Gospel and then blessing the families with groceries for a week. Each bag of groceries will cost $25 per family.

   We will be there first hand purchasing the food, and helping Pastor Claudio’s church team pack all of the supplies. We will see firsthand how every single dollar is spent.

2. Setting up discipleship action plans for those that receive the Lord during the meetings.

3. I will be bringing a word of salvation to a local youth prison in the area.

4. Pastor Claudio Romeiro is also setting up various youth events at a local soccer field where we can share the gospel.

5. Helen and I will also be sharing our testimony.

Lastly, as always we will provide pictures and video and answer any questions that you might have. More than anything else we could use your prayer for safe travels, for a fresh anointing to reach the lost, and to obtain a vision for future events.
