A Prayer For Wisdom
Lord Jesus, I pray that You cultivate within me a profound hunger for wisdom and understanding. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that the eyes of my understanding would be enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of His calling.
Scripture states: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
Lord, You said ask and it shall be given, seek and I shall find, knock and the door would be opened for me. That anything I ask for in Your name that it would be done, and today I ask for the hunger for wisdom to be released within my spirit.
The person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God.
My goal is that I may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that I may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that I may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Lord, you said If I lack wisdom, I should ask YOU, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to me, and I know that Your Word is Yes and Amen. That Your Word will never return to You void, but it shall accomplish what You please, and prosper in the thing for which you sent it.
Lord, You said in scripture, Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding. You also said Lord, that we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that some of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom and revelation.
Lord Jesus, you said that whatever I ask the Father in Your name He will do it, and today I ask for, and seek supernatural wisdom, and knowledge in the realm of the spirit.
I ask for wisdom on how to conduct the operations of my day, wisdom on how to pray for my family, wisdom and discernment on how to deal with the enemy, wisdom on how to pray for our nation, wisdom and understanding when I read Your word.
Most of all Father, I ask for wisdom on how to reach the lost. All for Your Glory and the glory of Your Kingdom.
Lord, I ask this in Your name, Christ Jesus…Amen.
A Prayer of Victory in the Blood of Christ
O Lord, my God, You who rule over all the kingdoms of the earth, who holds all power and might in Your hand—there is none who can stand against You!
You have redeemed me by the precious blood of Jesus, setting me free from the hand of the enemy. You have given me power over every serpent and scorpion, and over all the power of the enemy. No weapon formed against me shall prosper!
The enemy may come in one way, but by Your word, he shall flee before me in seven!
Will You not come to my defense as the enemy mounts his attack? Will You not avenge me speedily? For the blood of Jesus speaks for me.
Have You not said that if even an unjust judge yields to the persistence of a widow, how much more will You, my righteous Father, bring justice to Your elect who cry out to You day and night?
Move on my behalf my Lord God!!!
My Lord….My God and My King, let my enemies be scattered! At the sight of Jesus, every evil spirit must flee—flee from my mind, flee from my body, flee from my home!
Whatever has been stolen from me and my family must be repaid sevenfold, for the thief has been caught, and he must restore what he has taken.
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is working toward me! The same power that seated Him at Your right hand far above all principalities, powers, might, and dominion is the power that upholds me!
At the sound of His name from my lips, at the sight of His blood that washes me clean, every demon trembles and flees in fear! Christ Jesus made a public spectacle of the wicked spirits in heavenly places when He triumphed over them at the cross!!!
For the Spirit of the Lord God is upon me—You have anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor, to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.
Where else can I go but to You, Lord Jesus? Where else can I take refuge from the attacks of the enemy? You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.
Your name is exalted far above sickness, far above the spirit of fear, far above the spirit of lack! You, my Lord Jesus, became a curse for me.
You bore my griefs and carried my sorrows. You were wounded for my transgressions, bruised for my iniquities, and by Your stripes, I am healed!
Whom else do I have but You, my King, to help me in my time of need? The enemy mounts his attacks, but You, O Lord, cover me with Your feathers. Under Your wings, I take refuge! Your truth is my shield and my buckler.
You have prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have commanded me to be strong and of good courage—to not be afraid, to not be dismayed, for You are with me wherever I go!
You will never leave me nor forsake me. Your angels have been given charge over me, to keep me in all my ways, to bear me up lest I dash my foot against a stone. No evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling!
You have set my feet upon the solid rock of the Gospel. I stand unshaken, for Your word is unmovable. Your promises are undeniable.
My victory is in the blood that was shed at Calvary! I stand in that victory, and I declare it now in the mighty name of Christ Jesus!
